"When’s Santo coming?” is the question I am asked most by the patients (and staff!) on my unit. Louise and Santo’s visits are the highlight of our week and they never fail to show up, even when Christmas Day falls on the day of our scheduled visit!"

Katherine, Occupational therapist in mental health

"Santo is incredibly intuitive and is able to pick up on the emotional needs of the patients. He is able to sense when someone is having a hard day or if someone is becoming unwell. His gentle and playful nature permeates through the unit when he comes to visit and brightened up everyone’s day."

Katherine, Occupational therapist in mental health

"We have been so fortunate to have Louise and Santo visit us for the past three years. We hope to enjoy their company in the future, and the only thing left to do is convince hospital management to allow pet therapy visits for our staff!"
